In Depth:
At our core is faith in Jesus Christ. Scripture defines Him as “the image of the invisible God.” He not only reveals God’s character to us through His lifestyle and teachings, but also offers us daily guidance & eternal life through faith in Him. He conquered the power of sin and death on our behalf, and leads our way in life. He is our Catalyst.
1) SEEKING GOD in Bible study and prayer: Come as you are to learn and grow from there! God designed us to live in relationship with Him. His love causes Him to reach out to us continually. We want to help you experience God’s transforming touch in your daily life, which is what relationship with Him is all about. This happens best through a steady diet of personal Bible reading and prayer. Reading Scripture is God’s primary means of communication with us, while Prayer is our communication with Him.
2) LIVING IT OUT in our relationships and decisions: Do you want to have healthy relationships with your family, friends, co-workers & neighbors? Would you like to gain eternal-perspective for your daily activities & decisions? We do to! We’re about helping each other live and love faithfully, aligning our everyday relationships and decisions with God’s designs as shown in scripture. We believe this is the key to successful living.
3) CONNECTING regularly with other followers of Christ: We enjoy church-life much like the first-century Christians did, meeting in informal settings for small groups that function like ‘spiritual families.’ Meeting in groups of 2-20 people enables us to get to know each other deeply, seeking God in environments which are safe for open & honest sharing. We’re all about discovering the authentic YOU – created uniquely and with purpose by God. We will encourage your strengths, protect your weaknesses, and help you to focus your gifts towards God’s higher purposes of love and service to others.
4) SERVING OUR WORLD with acts of generosity: The earthly ministry of Jesus was marked by constant examples of compassion for the people around Him. We seek to follow in His footsteps; demonstrating His love to others by serving compassionately in our communities, with no strings attached. We want to help you impact your world for good by giving you opportunities to make a difference. 5) INVESTING in the spiritual journey of others: Our relationship with God through Christ is such good news, it needs to be shared! We seek to reproduce our faith in others, investing ourselves in the next generation of Christ-followers. We want to help new believers come to faith in Christ, commit to Him through baptism, and help them experience the abundant life we’ve found by following Him. We’ll help you to effectively invest your ‘time, talents, and treasures’ into the spiritual journey of others; and experience the fulfillment of joining God in His Mission.
